Once students have completed 54 credits of the Associate Degree requirements and the remaining courses are in progress, application can be made to UBC by the deadline.
- To become a registered dietitian, you need to do 3 things: Take the specific set of courses outlined by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND). This can be completed at the undergraduate OR graduate level.
- Where an associate’s degree program is an introduction to the field of nutrition, a bachelor’s degree program is an in-depth study of nutrition-related topics. In fact, the final two years of a bachelor’s degree program is spent in studies specifically related to one’s major.
